Wizards Prospero and Roger Bacon are faced with the challenge of preventing an evil force from taking over the world. Guidall uses his unique talent for vocal variation to portray the multiple characters, giving each his own voice and speech pattern and permitting their personalities to flourish. Speaking clearly and distinctly, he adds dramatic flair, which helps to animate the story and entice the listener. Guidall draws out the humor and enhances the suspense of the story, timing his lines with expertise and experience. Older elementary through adult listeners will enjoy this reading.
