THE FAIRY REBEL

Tiki, the fairy, uses magic to grant her two human friends their wish of a baby, only to find that all four of them face the wrath of the Fairy Queen. Banks reads her quick-paced, lively story with enthusiasm and energy. She deftly acts all the characters, excelling in her portrayals of the fairies. The fairy voices are high-pitched with special tonal qualities to match their roles and personalities. She uses her lower vocal range for the humans. Banks's characterization of the Fairy Queen contains just the right amount of malice, pomposity and evil, cleverly mixed to mirror the Queen's vile personality.
