Sarah Mollo-Christensen narrates a return to Sunnydale in this newest iteration of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe. Set 16 years after the end of the TV run, this YA novel focuses on Frankie Rosenberg, daughter of the fan favorite witchy wonder Willow Rosenberg. Mollo-Christensen's range of accents is on full display as she portrays vampires, demons, and humans from all corners of the human world and the underworld. She shines brightest as the narrator, Frankie. At the beginning of the audiobook, Mollo-Christensen portrays Frankie in the perfect tone of teenage angst, with a dash of whiny brat for good measure. As the stakes become higher, Frankie grows up, and Mollo-Christensen changes her affect to reflect the coming of age that is the heart of this action-adventure tale.
