MUNRO Immortals After Dark, Book 19

Narrator Robert Petkoff grabs the listener from the get-go and doesn't let go throughout this whole story. A centuries old werewolf, Munro MacRieve, finds his soulmate in Kereny Codrina, a human who is working at a circus while she fights evil immortals. Petkoff runs a gamut of emotions ranging from Munro's rage at the warlocks to his deep passion for Kereny. There is a lyrical quality to Munro's Scottish accent, and Kereny's voice is infused with strength. Petkoff brings to life Munro's desperation to safely make Kereny immortal and her determination to make her own choices. Petkoff masterfully portrays even secondary characters, who range from evil wizards to English carnies, adding to the richness of this listening experience. S.B.
