FEAR WILL DO IT

by | Read by Michael Hanson & Mary Dilts, Harold Welch

Mystery & Suspense • 12.5 hrs • Unabridged • © 1992

The scene is modern day Chicago, and Sam Reaves' whodunit/howdunit is expertly crafted with a modicum of violence and maximum character development. The trio of readers, however, are sometimes hard-pressed to live up to the fast-paced story. The challenge of multiple readers, of course, is the possibility of uneven performances. Such is the case with Fear Will Do It as Michael Hanson far outshines his peers. Recording quality is excellent, and the author's heavy dependence upon character development makes this work ideal for audio adaptation. D.R.T. ©AudioFile, Portland, Maine [Published: JULY 95]
