FIRESIDE READING OF MY MAN JEEVES

There are two kinds of people: those who love Wodehouse and those who have not yet read him. Narrator Gildart Jackson clearly loves these early stories about Reggie Pepper and his successors, Jeeves and Wooster. However, the Fireside Reading audiobooks are the soundtracks from Jackson's YouTube video readings, and the sound of the crackling fire and the pauses as he turns pages may take some getting used to. And while his performance is apt and enthusiastic, his dynamic range from very loud to very soft will not be ideal for some earphones or car audio listeners.
