THE INHERITANCE

This gothic and cynical tale of wealth and power is manipulated both by the cleverness of the plot and by the chilling narration of Jeff Woodman. The moral of this story must be: Be careful what you wish for. Holly, an adopted young woman from California, inherits a vast estate and fortune in Connecticut from her biological grandmother. She also inherits bad news about her own biological family. As the story unravels, so do the secrets--murder, greed, and incest. Jeff Woodman's telling narration hints that Holly may not be the charming ingenue she appears to be. While Woodman’s narration is expert, overall this production is a disappointment.
