LONG SHADOWS Memory Man Series, Book 7

Kyf Brewer and Orlagh Cassidy give seamless performances as FBI consultant Amos Decker and his new partner, Special Agent "Freddie" White. The pair are sent to South Florida to investigate a seemingly unsolvable double murder. The dual narration is highly professional and natural sounding. Brewer is an excellent choice as the main narrator; he creates a slightly gruff and socially awkward character in Decker, who is blessed (or cursed) with perfect recall and excellent investigation skills. Cassidy portrays Freddie as a likable, feisty, and believable character. Their dual timing is spot-on, and the narration keeps the plot moving.
