These transcriptions of interviews with five successful American families make for heartwarming listening. Quayle traveled the entire country to find these remarkable people. The performance is engaging, in part because the people quoted are so fascinating. Quayle demonstrates that, despite tremendous pressure, family life can flourish. This presentation would be better suited to video format so we could hear the families’ convictions in their voices and see the toll their struggles have taken on them.
