TURN Remembering Our Foundations

Author Max Lucado has a talent for making sermons sound like poetry. He does so with this book, produced for the National Day of Prayer, October 2005. The entire book is based on II Chronicles 7:14: "If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." Lucado says Americans need to turn from self-reliance to God-dependence, from sin to God. A simple, yet profound message makes this a challenging book in a time of national and international turmoil.
