FIRST LADIES

In a delightful reading of a wonderfully written work, Caruso reads with a pace that carries the listener along, eager for the next interesting anecdote. Reading neither too quickly nor too slowly, she pauses appropriately allowing the listener to digest the material. Moreover, Caruso's strong voice is as enjoyable as the book. This account of first ladies presents fascinating portraits of many of the presidents' wives--their relationships with their husbands, their impact on policy, and their contributions during and after life in the White House.
