Forsyth’s novel about “what might have happened” during Operation Desert Storm is exciting, educational and very disturbing. The narrator, Case, brings every sentence to life. His brilliant reading includes a huge cast of characters with dialects of British, American, Israeli, Iraqi, Kuwaiti and Austrian players. As in other Forsyth novels, the action skips across the globe quickly. Without Case’s expert delivery, it would be difficult to follow. This is a fifteen cassette volume, but it’s almost impossible to shut off. The tension mounts and the danger increases with each chapter. This is a winner! K.D.P.
