FLIGHT OF THE BUMBLE BEE

In this comic piece of science fiction a sexy lady is sent to babysit an alcoholic space jockey on an important mission. Very much in the growing tradition of contemporary audio drama, the production features silly gags, serviceable acting and a richly textured sound picture. Oddly, the guest artist, Marina Sirtis of "Star Trek," gives the weakest performance, perhaps because her vocal style, absent her physicality, comes off as leaden.
