THE AMERICAN PRESIDENT

This audiobook presents the lives of the 41 men who have served as President of the United States. It is a companion to the PBS series by the same name and produced by the Kunhardt family, whose members have worked with LIFE magazine and have produced television documentaries. The primary reader is Richard Neustadt, a retired Harvard Government professor and the author of several important books on the presidency. Neustadt is not a professional reader or actor, but he reads well and has a kindly, professorial voice that is pleasant to the ear. One can assume that Larry Kenney is a professional actor because he provides excellent impersonations of the presidents.
