Jaime Lincoln Smith entertains listeners with his narration of this romance, which is mixed with the perfect amount of danger. Detectives Drew and Toni must set aside their steamy past when they are assigned to work together to solve a murder. But the sexual tension is still lingering, and the need for Drew to protect Toni is very much evident when she finds herself in peril. While Smith attempts to provide the various characters with individual voices, at times he does not differentiate them clearly.
