DEATH IN THE DARK Dublin Drag, Book 2

Ell Potter introduces Fi McKinnery and her drag queen pals, who perform at Dublin's Trash Club. Descriptions of facial, hair, and costume preparations, along with lip-synching, are impressive, and most entertaining is meeting the splendidly rendered drag king, Stan the Man. At first, the mystery involves the disappearance of performer Sparkle McCavity. Then, Fi's best buddy, "Mae B," vanishes, as well, and the tension increases. Potter's most disturbing creation is a bizarre fan who keeps everyone, even listeners, on edge. Beginning with the first in this series would clarify many of the references in this installment.
