JASMINE AND JAKE ROCK THE BOAT

Mayuri Bhandari brings a willful and cocksure attitude to her portrayal of Jasmine, a reckless 30-something who accepts a last-minute invitation to join her parents on a cruise. It turns out to be a senior cruise packed with the very people who frequently shamed her while she was growing up. Luckily, the seemingly perfect (and younger) Jake has also tagged along. Bhandari's voice is smooth and flirty as Jake pursues Jasmine while revealing his own vulnerabilities. In dialogue between Jasmine and her senior travel companions Bhandari instantly ages her voice and equally quickly returns to Jasmine's youthful timbre. Bhandari captures the highs and lows of Jasmine's spontaneous vacation, creating an enchanting experience for listeners in the mood for a humorous romance with compelling family elements.
