A BRIEF HISTORY OF LIVING FOREVER

Juanita McMahon narrates this cautionary tale, which transports listeners to a future in which present-day politics and technology have wreaked havoc on humanity. Adela is a terminally ill Czech woman who is traveling to New York City to meet Tereza, the daughter she gave up for adoption. Tereza is a brilliant researcher who is working for a corrupt biotech company that is determined to circumvent death by uploading consciousness. Shortly after meeting Tereza, Adela dies, and her body disappears. Tereza then travels to the Czech Republic, where mysterious circumstances unfold.
