Popular romance author Beverly continues her Company of Rogues series with Miles Cavanagh's story. In early nineteenth-century Ireland, Miles discovers he has recently been appointed guardian of heiress Felicity Monahan. Felicity has her heart set on marrying widower Rupert Dunsmore after developing an attachment to his young son. Miles feels he must prevent Felicity's marriage to the disreputable Englishman, but will he lose his heart in the process? Emily Gray's expert Irish accents add authenticity to the novel, especially with her rendition of Felicity's lilting brogue.
