THE ENCHANTED HACIENDA

Frankie Corzo's expressive narration saves this story, which is charming but predictable and rushed. Harlow Estrada loses her job and breaks up with her boyfriend. Feeling dejected, she goes to her family's magical ranch in Mexico. There, the Estradas harness the power of enchanted flowers grown on charmed land. Through a family friend, she meets Ben, a hotel magnate. Their attraction is immediate, but is their connection genuine, or is magic involved? Corzo, a master narrator, shines when delivering the sensual scenes, lowering her voice and pausing to enhance the mood. Sadly, the ranch and family histories are glossed over in the plot--a missed opportunity. Listeners will enjoy this love story with a captivating premise, thanks to Corzo's experience and talent.
