Yale and Celine Yee, cousins who run a food stall, dive into investigating the suspicious death of local restaurateur Jeffery Vue. Sheh appropriately portrays the characters, depicting people of various ages, genders, and ethnicities as she navigates listeners through the clues and plot twists. Sheh brings authenticity to her dialogue. Luscious descriptions of food--including ramen, hot pot, and other dishes, along with the recipes included--will have listeners' mouths watering.
