MAKEOVER

British teenagers Sarah and Lianne decide to start a makeover business for children's parties. In the midst of their latest venture, they collide with the lonely Ruth, a new classmate coping with her blended family and recent move to London. Will Ruth's makeover be more than skin deep? While Gillian Walton's excessively high-pitched voice is appropriate for the youthful tones of these middle school girls, it is irritatingly distracting. She does shift to deeper octaves for the male characters. But many listeners may not be able to concentrate on the largely predictable plot because of its delivery in mostly helium-like piping.
