THE FOX BUSTERS

King-Smith's witty writing style alone elicits smiles and hoots from readers. But Lambert's narration takes the author's puns, jokes and word-play a step further, clucking the chickens' dialogue and presenting the other animals' characters in equally convincing fashion. Ransome, Sims and Jeffries, sister chicks, decide to take the matter into their own hands/wings after foxes kill off much of the flock.
