This strange tale is taken from Sutphen's short story collection, Sexpunks & Savage Sagas, also published by Spine-Tingling Press. The story readily falls within the "splatterpunk" sub-genre of horror fiction. The characters are exceptionally quirky; the violence often vividly brutal; and although the profanities and sexual content are not gratuitous, they are explicit at times. Sutphen's narration is clear, entertaining and evenly paced. The music and 3-D sound effects are excellent. All things considered, this is a high-quality presentation.
