Using cognitive science to illuminate the success of right wing politicians, author George Lakoff creates a guide for progressives to regain the electorate's confidence. One of Lakoff's goals is to build cohesion and trust among progressive factions. Narrator George Wilson is a natural to facilitate this. His voice is unassuming, yet a subtle wryness promotes a sense of camaraderie. Initially Wilson may seem bland, but this is only because his deliberate elocution has no rough edges. Without obvious vocal quirks to distract from the author's message, each word fits seamlessly to the next, so the ideas presented ring true.
