TV reporter Andrea Malone travels to Texas to interview aging war hero General Ratiff. But his handsome son, Lyon, is afraid that Andrea will exploit his father in order to uncover the secret that caused the general to go into seclusion. Seasoned narrator Joyce Bean perfectly captures, not only Lyon's seductive Texas drawl, but also Andrea's educated, career-minded tones. Bean carefully modulates her voice to reflect the ever present romantic tension between Lyon and Andrea, as their relationship endures its highs and lows.
