ENDER'S SHADOW

This parallel novel to ENDER'S GAME explores the character of Bean, Ender's friend. From the streets of Rotterdam to Command School, the ingenious, albeit small, Bean must strategize against the invading buggers while staying ahead of threatening rivals. The story is delivered by a full cast, including Scott Brick, Gabrielle de Cuir, and Stefan Rudnicki. Brick's light, sincere voice provides Bean's view, which is balanced by Rudnicki's thundering voice as the stern Commander Graft. Music segues between each section seem misplaced, and conversations at the beginning of each chapter sometimes run too fast.
