Those bizarre, but lovable, residents of 28 Barbary Lane, San Francisco, are back with more madcap adventures. Society columnist Prue Giroux's love affair with a homeless man leads to danger for DeDe Halcyon Day (recently released from a Cuban prison camp) and her two children; Michael "Mouse" Tolliver continues his seemingly endless quest for an emotionally satisfying love; and television personality Mary Ann Singleton's obsession with finding a major news story causes kindly Anna Madrigal to become a kidnapper.
