Bert Seymour narrates from Luke's perspective, bringing engaging authenticity to a conflicted man. Hearing about the couple's relationship from multiple viewpoints provides a more nuanced account of how emotional codependency, infidelity, and routine found its way to the altar along with a kernel of love.
