There is a treasure to find, stolen art, a house-party atmosphere, a mansion with secret passageways, caves that fill up with water, houseguests who are not the people they pretend to be, and many other classic dangers. The plot, despite its intentional clichés, is engaging, and one stays glued to the ever-growing tension.
