THE TAKEOVER

Listeners will hear a fun performance in this reluctant contemporary romance. While the takeover is definitely hostile, the relationship between Nami and Jae is much more complex. Will the rivals turn into lovers? Narrators Donald Chang and Chieko Hidaka have a lively dynamic. As Chang and Hidaka narrate from opposing perspectives, Nami and Jae butt heads at first but soon uncover charming layers of each other's characters. The blend of Hidaka's thoughtful demeanor and Chang's laidback candor offers quirky and amusing dialogue amid a completely believable romance.
