[Editor's Note: This is a combined review with I CAN'T FIND IT!.]--Mooney's Kitty is cute, typical, and sometimes frustrating, especially when she utters either "I can't find it" or "I don't want to." In both of these titles, Nigel Anthony creates a realistic Kitty and her long suffering parents. Each segment begins with Kitty saying what she won't do or can't find. Whether she refuses to eat her veggies, brush her teeth, or go to bed, Kitty ultimately decides to obey, sometimes by reasoning, at other times, despite herself. Yet as Kitty copes with her inability to keep from losing things, she finds her mother's car keys. Young listeners will get plenty of laughs as they listen to these good-natured stories.
