THE SUMMER BOOK CLUB

Narrator Tanya Eby brings warmth to her performance as she narrates a story of three friends, their bonds, and their developing romances with the men in their lives. Laurel and Paris, who have been lifelong friends, welcome Cassie into their lives when she moves to town. Paris is coping with the return of her ex-husband, Jonah, and his young son. Laurel is developing a friendship with Colton in order to give her daughters a positive male role model. Eby's voice is distinct for each of the characters' personalities. Cassie is younger and more uncertain, and Eby aptly conveys her hesitancy and youth. Eby gives exuberance to Laurel's daughters and Jonah's son.
