The Internet bubble burst on March 10, 2000--the same year this book was published. Six years have passed since its publication--Internet years are really the equivalent of dog years--and you have to wonder whether the material is relevant for today’s e-business entrepreneur. Much of the advice, such as “Perfect your logistics” and “Harmonize your channels,” seems quaint and reminiscent of the days when b.s. ruled the stock market. However, some of the underlying principles (or “value imperatives,” as they’re unfortunately titled) still ring true and are worth reviewing for e-commerce success.
