Evander Mills finally has a boyfriend, a safe apartment above a queer bar, and steady work as a PI. But there's always something threatening the fragile peace of the life he's built for himself, and this time it begins when the owner of a gay bookstore goes missing. Adam's narration is as pitch-perfect as ever. He voices Andy with a blend of gruff heroism and vulnerable longing that perfectly captures his complex character. He also excels at voicing secondary characters--from the talkative elderly lesbian who co-owns the bookshop to Andy's gentle but driven boyfriend, who is a bartender. A delightful romp.
