Alan Sklar's narration is smooth and engaging, making a potentially dry text approachable. He speaks with keen personal interest in Borg and Crossan's topic, communicating both clarity and patience to the listener, even sounding as if he'd be happy to pause in his narration and explain a particularly obscure reference to the curious listener.
