OF RICE AND MEN

This work consists of a series of vignettes about a group of GIs in a civil affairs unit in Vietnam in the period after the Tet offensive. Much of the humor is on the dark side, almost all of it sardonic and understated. Paul Michael gives a nearly flawless performance in this production. He reads clearly and has an understated way of expression. He portrays the characters quite well: male, female, Vietnamese, American. He is even credible reading French.
