This historical romance is set in Colorado during gold rush days. The requisite characters --a feisty heroine and a strong, silent hero with a shady past--carry out the improbable plot, moving things along quickly. Good audio quality and a professional, well-chosen cast combine to make this pleasant listening--if Harlequins are your cup of tea. Just one word of advice--if you listen to this in your car, make sure your windows aren't open. If you come to a stoplight during one of the scenes when Eliza and Brand melt into each others arms and ride wild, untamed waves of unimaginable physical desire and fulfillment, the people in the next car will look at you funny.
