Maria Shriver, a TV news reporter and the wife of California’s Governor Schwarzenegger, offers a polished delivery of material she expanded from a luncheon speech she gave to graduating high school girls and their mothers in 2005. Her ideas and suggestions will remind listeners of yearbook-signing clichés of old, such as "Stay as sweet as you are," or in Shriver's words, "Keep a childlike quality." While this little audio might have made a nice gift for a young woman in 1950, the author seems to have missed the fact that we're well into the twenty-first century and today's young women would be better served by something more substantial than outdated maxims.
