ROSE OF JERICHO

by | Read by John Pirhalla

Horror • 11 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2025

Narrator John Pirhalla does something outstanding in this horror audiobook: He makes what's normal seem creepy. He accomplishes this by mining that little bit of darkness inside the soul of each of author Grecian's characters. The problem starts when a grieving farmer kills the Angel of Death. After that, no one dies anymore. And that development lets loose all the dark secrets in the little New England town of Ascension. Also, three new female residents who arrive to care for an ailing relative get branded as witches by the locals. Since this production features characters throughout the US, Pirhalla capably employs a variety of accents. He skillfully paints an eerie tableau as supernatural beings seek to restore normalcy to life (and death). D.E.M. © AudioFile 2025, Portland, Maine [Published: MAY 2025]
