SLEEPING WITH FEAR

by | Read by Kathy Garver

Mystery & Suspense • 7 hrs. • Unabridged • © 2006

An FBI agent in the Special Crimes Unit has lost significant periods of memory during the course of an investigation. As she realizes the depth of her problem, the number of murder victims, and the new state of her love life, she begins to solve the case. Kathy Garver's voice sounds too young to be believable as a federal law enforcement official. Compounding the problem, her male characters suffer from inconsistent and inappropriate vocal tones. And her attempts at a regional accent do nothing to further the credibility of those who speak it. Garver's diction is clear, however, and her pacing appropriate for the story.
