GREEK MYTHS

Jim Weiss presents a storyteller's version of Greek myths which explore the complex relationships between mortals and gods. Weiss's clear voice and effective use of emphasis and pauses hold the listener. His adaptations of the myths and his informal style make these retellings most suitable for children. Asides--explanatory notes and comments-- may appeal to young listeners; adults may find they detract from their enjoyment of these classic tales.
