Michael Crouch is perfect for this audiobook, which demands that the narrator shift between teens and adults--all of whom sound different and distinct. One of the group is a teen whose tone comes off as surly, while a pill-popping mom takes on a slurred delivery. A lawyer key to the story has an appropriately strong New England accent. Golden Voice Crouch embraces them all, remains consistent, and stays with the riveting story, told in first-person by one of the teens, to the end.
