Lloyd James interprets the author's work with convincing clarity as he describes God's character, God's love for us, and God's desire to have a relationship with his creation. James’s rich baritone, coupled with a delicate delivery and deft timing, reveals how to rest in the character of God. His voice is an excellent vehicle for Buchanan’s descriptive, colorful words and clearly drawn examples. The author warns that resting in God requires trust and taking risks. Yet, he also advises, that is how faith in God is built. As we step out in faith, trusting God to respond, God honors our faithfulness and reveals Himself.
