THE HAMMER OF EDEN

The title refers to a Charles Manson-like group trying to save the land under its commune by causing earthquakes. The obligatory hunk of a hero and beautiful heroine kindle an obligatory romance while foiling the bad guys, who include the hunk's ex-wife. So conventional is the novel and so high the energy of its narrator that the only suspense comes from whether or not Tony Heald will manage to keep the adrenaline pumping for the duration of all six sides.
