TWO TALES: JAMALI KAMALI AND ZUNDELSTATE

Golden Voice narrator Vikas Adam expertly performs two stories, each set in the past and the future. "Jamali Kamali" is an extensive poem imagining the relationship between two figures from 16th-century India. "Zundelstate" is a futuristic romance in which an amateur historian named Joe covertly searches for information from the past. Marianna works for the history-suppressing State department. Though they're on opposite sides of the law, the two develop a romantic relationship. Music that opens and closes the tales takes the listener into their settings. Adam imbues his portrayal of Jamali with the Indian poet's intense emotions for his lover, Kamali. In "Zundelstate," Adam expertly switches between Joe and Marianna's points of view.
