ATLAS OF UNKNOWABLE THINGS

Jess Moran portrays historian Robin Quain, who is searching for a relic depicting a cabal of witches with unimaginable power. The novel takes place during her summer residency at mysterious Hildegard College in the Rocky Mountains. Quain uses a unique combination of occult, botanical, and scientific knowledge as she uncovers clues to the relic's whereabouts. Moran provides a variety of accents, some French patois, and a host of odd pronunciations of common polysyllabic words to tell this story. She softens her tone for male characters and attempts no sound effects for the wolves and other creatures.
