HANK THE COWDOG: THE CASE OF THE BLACK-HOODED HANGMANS

In this 24th adventure in the Cowdog series, Hank, the head of ranch security, must save himself and his companions from the Black-Hooded Hangman. Erickson reads with a folksy Texas accent and gives Hank the Cowdog and the other ranch animals interesting, distinct voices, which fit their personalities. The songs interspersed with the narration are fun, but the synthesizer music heard throughout the reading is irritating and distracting.
