BONES TO PICK

PI Sarah Booth Delaney, her dog, Sweetie Pie, and her business partner, Tinkie, investigate the murder of Quentin McGee, who has just written a tell-all about their Southern community of Zinnia, Mississippi. Someone didn't like all the scandalous, juicy stories Quentin wrote. The police think the killer is her lover, Allison, but Sarah Booth thinks it's a serial killer. Kate Forbes relates this story in a wonderful Southern accent. As Sarah investigates, she is pursued by her client, Allison's brother, who wants a wife; by Sheriff Coleman Peters, who just happens to be married already; and by the killer.
