Narrators Stephen Dexter and Joy Nash delight listeners with this hilarious second-chance romance. Molly and Karl never dated in high school, but the feelings between them were always present. Years later, when Molly returns to Harlot's Bay after reading Karl's obituary--which turns out to be fake--the two reunite, and sparks fly. Nash's expressive yet nuanced performance highlights Molly's inner conflict as she deals with old feelings and new desires. Dexter's shifting tone and timbre reflect Karl's grumpy exterior while also embracing his charismatic interior.
